I recently met and performed bodywork on a 9-11 Search and Rescue dog by the name of Bretagne. Her first ever deployment sent her and her handler to Ground Zero of the Twin Towers’ wreckage.
Bretagne searched for survivors and provided comfort to her fellow human rescuers during the mission.

Bretagne and I will be seeing one another on a regular basis. She still participates in drills, loves jumping into pools and is an otherwise very active senior.
